Israel launched an attack on Iran in the early hours of Friday, claiming to target Tehran's nuclear and military facilities that killed two senior generals.

Quoted from IRNA, among those killed were Iran's Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri and IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.

This attack angered Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"The Zionist regime is committing crimes with his hands in our country. The regime must bear a strong response," said Khamenei.
