Doctor Of Understanding For Raping Patients' Families At RSHS Bandung Has Deviant Sexual Fantasy

West Java Regional Police revealed that an Unpad resident named Priguna Anugerah Pratama (PAP) had sexual fantasies that deviated from people in helpless conditions.

This is based on the results of a psychological examination of dr. PAP, who is a suspect in the rape of the family of a patient at Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung, West Java.

"Yes, more or less, there is fantasy for helpless people," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the West Java Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Surawan in Bandung, Monday, June 9, as reported by Antara.

Despite having this disorder, Surawan emphasized that it did not erase the criminal element in this case. Even the actions of the suspect PAP can be charged with weighting articles in accordance with Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS).

"There was a weighting of rape carried out against the helpless person in the TPKS Law, try to check the exact article," he said.

According to him, in Article 13 of the TPKS Law, someone who unlawfully puts another person in a helpless condition to be sexually exploited can be sentenced to sexual slavery with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.

Surawan said that the results of laboratory tests on DNA from the evidence that was secured showed a match between the perpetrator and one of the victims.

"All of the lab tests were found to be identical to the suspects and victims when we did the crime scene again," he said.

He said that based on the results of the toxicology test, he also showed the presence of drugs in the victim's blood.

This reinforces the allegation that the perpetrator used certain substances to paralyze the victim before carrying out his depraved act.

"There is an anesthetic in the victim's blood. The drug used by the suspect, I don't understand the type," said Surawan.

With the completion of all the results of the examination, the police stated that they were ready to hand over the case files and suspects to the West Java High Prosecutor's Office in the near future.

"The delegation to the prosecutor's office is planned to be carried out this week. Tomorrow (Tuesday) it will be sent to the prosecutor," said Surawan.
