Cipayung Residents Are Excited When One Cow Goes Raging And Is Released When They Want To Be Slaughtered

JAKARTA - A number of residents on SMKN 24 Street, Bambu Apus Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, were suddenly shocked by the presence of a sacrificial cow that was released when they were about to be slaughtered on Sunday (8/6/2025) morning. The incident was reported to have occurred at around 06.30 WIB.

According to Kelvin, a local resident, before the sacrificial cow was released, the cow went berserk and struggled to escape the rope that ensnared her body.

"The cow wants to be cut but the cow goes berserk and gets off the rope," he told reporters.

Kelvin suspects that the sacrificial cow is in trouble because it is unstable when it is about to be slaughtered.

"Residents then reported to the East Jakarta fire department by telephone," he said.

After receiving the report, officers from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. then went to the scene. The operation to handle the sacrificial cows that were released was carried out starting at 06.55 WIB.

"After the operation at 07.15 WIB, with the deployment of 3 rescue personnel. The evacuation of one sacrificial cow went smoothly," said the firefighters.

Furthermore, the sacrificial cow was again handed over to the sacrificial committee at the scene to be carried out again by slaughtering the sacrifice.
