BOGOR The moment of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri was used by the actor and Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the National Awakening Party (PKB) faction, Tommy Kurniawan, to share again. Even though he was performing the pilgrimage in the Holy Land, the man who is familiarly called Tomkur continued to distribute dozens of goats and dozens of sacrificial cows in various sub-districts in Bogor Regency, West Java.

The handover of the sacrificial animal has been prepared for a long time and carried out by his team, Sahabat Tomkur, ensures that the mandate reaches those who are entitled.

"Alhamdulillah, I can return to sacrifice and become a share of sustenance. My sustenance, the sustenance of the team, and the sustenance of residents in Bogor Regency in several sub-districts that we have submitted. And I received a report from the team, there are also some who have made a defense right on Eid al-Adha Day yesterday," said Tommy Kurniawan from Mecca by telephone, Saturday, June 7.

He added, "Hopefully this will be a blessing for all of us. I pray from here (The Holy Land), for the good, health, and blessings of all of us. Sorry, I cannot immediately go down to give sacrificial animals."

Bogor Residents Are Grateful

The assistance of sacrificial animals from Tommy Kurniawan was greeted enthusiastically by people in various corners of Bogor Regency.

"Alhamdulillah, Mr. Tommy never forgets and always pays attention to us residents here. Not only the time of sacrifice like Eid al-Adha, always paying attention. We thank you and pray for Mr. Tommy to be full of blessings and always maintain the mandate well. We spread the whole meat to the residents according to the mandate of Mr. Tommy, "said Afu and his wife Jasinga residents.

The distribution of these sacrifices reaches many areas, such as Dramaga, Parung, Pamijahan, Ciseeng, Cibungbulang, Tenjo, Parung Panjang. In addition, assistance is also spread across Cisarua, Megamendung, Bojong, Citeureup, Cibinong, Rumpin, Sindur Mountain, Tajurhalang, Kemang Bogor Regency, as well as several foundations and Islamic boarding schools.

"Thank God, Mr. Tommy has again distributed his sacrificial animals to our village (Cibungbulang). Thank God, we have datad everything well to directly distribute the sacrificial meat to those who are entitled," added Kang Miftah from Cibungbulang.

For Tommy Kurniawan and his family, this activity of handing over sacrificial animals is nothing new. This is a routine that they always do every year, even long before Tommy becomes an actor. What's more, since serving as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Lisya Nurrahmi's husband has consistently distributed sacrificial animals as a form of concern to residents.
