Lower The Profession Of Journalists, Head Of Education Office Sigi Central Sulawesi Apologizes

Head of the Education and Culture Office (Kadis) of Sigi Anwar Regency apologized after expressing sentences and comments that demeaned the journalist profession in public during the verification of the hybrid field of Child-Friendly Regency at the Sigi Regent's Office, Bora Village, Monday 2 June.

"On this occasion, I am also an ordinary human being, so I did not escape mistakes and mistakes, so I apologize and do not want to run away from this problem," said Anwar when met by the media crew in Kalukubula Village, Sigi, Central Sulawesi, Tuesday, June 3, confiscated by Antara.

He stated that he still wanted to maintain good relations with media friends in Central Sulawesi, especially in Sigi Regency.

"I didn't have the slightest intention to harass journalists, the word 'bal' was just a joke to my friends who used to take pictures," he said.

He said he really likes to joke and joke with people.

"Indeed, I like to joke, but in essence I personally and on behalf of the Head of the Sigi Regency Education Office have never at all been involved in harassing the profession of these journalist friends," he said.

According to him, so far he has never closed himself when he wanted to be met by reporters for confirmation regarding the world of education in Sigi.

"Friends want to confirm anything to me regarding the world of education in Sigi Regency, I will definitely be very open," he said.

He has also been contacted by the Sigi Regent and the Sigi Regency Regional Secretary to immediately resolve the issue.

Anwar invites journalists to continue to build positive communication and collaboration in the future.

"I really need the role of the media in monitoring the running of educational services. If there are violations or things that are not in accordance with the procedure, please convey it to me. We can follow up together. We must continue to work together and remind each other," he said.
