Hasan Nasbi Explains President Prabowo's Purpose Of Not Wanting To Commotion Two Periods

JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi explained the intention of President Prabowo Subianto who did not want any fanfares of himself running for president for the second term.

Hasan said President Prabowo is currently focusing on working on realizing his campaign promises during the 2024 presidential election, and does not want to discuss political possibilities for the next 5 years.

Not now is the time to think about politics. I think the President wants to say that. Time to think about politics is around time. Now is the time for all of us to work. Prove first what was promised to the community can be realized, it can be realized," Hasan Nasbi said in response to reporters' questions reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 19.

Therefore, President Prabowo also invited his supporters to focus on supporting government programs.

"Today the President wants to invite all of us to work spirit. Everyone is embraced to be able to work to realize promises during yesterday's campaign period. There are Astacita, there are 17 priority programs, there are 8 best results programs fast, and there are more programs in the Vision Mission book during the campaign," Hasan Nasbi said.

President Prabowo during a speech at the IV PP Tidar Congress in Jakarta, last Saturday (17/5), banned his supporters from fanfare about the two terms.

Prabowo warned them to keep these supports and hopes in their hearts.

Earlier thank you, there are those who call Prabowo two terms. I think, I want a correction. The cadres are young, I want to correct you.Please, please don't mention it like that. We haven't carried out the mandate for 1 year," said President Prabowo.

Prabowo then reminded his party cadres and Tidar members that the decision to move forward would consider the results of the government's work for the next 5 years.

"Please keep that intention in your heart. However, I have said, later it will determine whether Prabowo is two or not, apart from the Gods, Prabowo himself. If I judge that I have not achieved what I have announced, I do not want to run again as President of the Republic of Indonesia, "said President Prabowo.

Prabowo then emphasized that if he fails, then he hopes that his cadres will no longer ask him to run for a second term.

"If I judge myself to be unsuccessful, I beg you very much, don't expect me to come forward again. As a fighter, we just want to do our best for the nation and state," said President Prabowo.
