Alleged Harassment, Three Students Of Vocational Schools Waskito Report Seniors To The South Tangerang Police

TANGERANG Three students of SMK Waskito reported their seniors with the initials S (18) to the South Tangerang Police on suspicion of sexual harassment. The three victims with the initials B, C, and N, hoped that the perpetrators would be held accountable for their actions.

The victim's attorney, Abdul Hamim Jauzie, said that there is a possibility that more victims have not officially reported. "At least we have identified five, but only three have reported it," he said, Sunday, May 18.

The perpetrator is a senior as well as an ex-kul cinematography mentor at the school. The mode is, S invites the victim to make a film for the competition, but during the filming process, the perpetrator is suspected of taking indecent pictures at the hotel and at school.

Abdul explained, after getting the picture, the perpetrator threatened to distribute it and make the victim bullied at the school. The victim then reported this incident to the family and the school, but felt neglected.

"The family has reported to the school, but there is no follow-up. BK teachers ignore it for a long time, even though the deputy principal knows," he said.

The victim's family also wanted to meet the perpetrator for clarification, but this effort was hindered by the school for security reasons, because the perpetrator was accompanied by seven lawyers.

The principal of SMK Waskito, Hartono, stated that the perpetrator had been dismissed (drop out) from school. "We regret this incident and support the ongoing legal process. This decision was taken in accordance with school regulations and regulations," he said.
