Political observer from Al Azhar University Indonesia Andriadi Achmad assessed that the Ummat Party seems to be preparing itself so that it can be recognized by the state as a new political party. The party chaired by Ridho Rahmadi also has two important assets to establish a political party.

"Establishing a party is certain, first, financially. It cannot be denied because it is financial to form a party 100% in the provinces, 70% in city districts, 50% at the district level representatives. Andriadi explained that the financial capital for the formation of the party is divided into two. Namely, individual capital and collective or joint capital.

"I see the Ummat Party as collective, meaning that it is joint funds, like the formation of PAN in the past. It is not funded by one person but together," he explained.

Second, continued Andriadi, is character. According to him, it cannot be denied that today's political parties are very dependent on the figure of a figure.

"We see, currently it depends on the figures, even these political parties have left the figures etc., they even lost their prestige and then collapsed, they did not pass the parliamentary threshold. That is a symptom of being politicized," he said.

In the Ummat Party, according to Andriadi, Amien Rais' character is still good even though it is not as strong as the 1998 reform era. The threshold is 4 percent, "he said.

The Executive Director of the Nusantara Institute PolCom SRC, also predicts that the Ummat Party will make a surprise if it is verified by the government. One of them is the entry of a number of well-known national figures who have masses.

"For example, Gatot Nurmantyo suddenly joined the Ummat Party a year before the election because the president needed a party. Then Din Syamsuddin, the stronger it was (the Ummat Party, red). In addition to its character, what will make the Ummat Party have the potential to be successful in the election is the niche of voters from the 212 alumni group and PAN voters. This is because PAN's prestige fell after Amien Rais left and Zulkifli Hasan was not very convincing.

"So the market niche is 212 alumni and the PAN masses. But I am sure there are figures who are close to certain financial capital, then there will also be figures. I predict that the ummat party will have a place in 2024," said Andriadi Achmad.
