Jakarta's Weather Is Dominated By Thick Clouds, Light Rain Falls In Several Areas

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas of DKI Jakarta will experience thick cloudy weather on Thursday, May 15, especially in the morning.

In a weather forecast report quoted from ANTARA, BMKG stated that thick clouds are predicted to blanket South Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands Regency is expected to experience light rain in the morning.

Entering the afternoon, thick cloudy weather is predicted to still occur in West Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands. It is predicted that Central Jakarta and South Jakarta will only be cloudy.

In the afternoon, light rain is predicted to fall in almost all areas of Jakarta, including West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands is expected to be cloudy.

At night, light rain still occurs in several areas such as South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are predicted to experience thick cloudy weather.

BMKG estimates that the air temperature in the DKI Jakarta area is in the range of 24 to 31 degrees Celsius. Wind speed is predicted to range from 2 to 11 kilometers per hour.
