TANGERANG Ekayana Education Group held the Gemilang Vesak 2025 event at Tribeca Park, Central Park Mall, West Jakarta, in commemoration of Trisuci Waisak Day 2569 BE. This activity is also a form of support for a mindful, joyful, and meaningful learning approach, as directed by the Ministry of Basic and Medium Education.

The event which took place on Sunday, May 11, from 15.30 to 20.30 is supported by Wihara Ekayana Arama and Wihara Ekayana Serpong. Raising the theme "Buddha Present, Universe Bright", this activity is a reflection room and celebration of Buddhist spiritual values, especially the practice of living consciously or mindfulness in daily life.

Ekayana Education has integrated mindfulness practices into the curriculum of its fostered schools. Through the commemoration of Trisuci Vesak Day, this approach is extended to the general public as part of a mission to create a healthy and comprehensive learning ecosystem.

The founder of Wihara Ekayana and Chair of the Ekayana Education Trustee, Bhante Aryamaidri Mahasthavira, said that Trisuci Vesak did not only commemorate three important events in Buddhist life, namely the birth of Princerantama, enlightenment as Buddha, and the death of Buddha (Parinibbana).

According to him, Vesak is also a reminder of the importance of practicing Buddhist teachings in real life, including conscious exercises that train the mind to be filled with love, compassion, and wisdom.

Bhante Aryamaidri explained that Gemilang Vesak 2025 was held based on the vision and mission of Ekayana Education to form a generation of leaders who are aware and have five main characters: devotion, generosity, morality, resilience, and wisdom.

The head of the event, Febrian Temansjah, said thousands of participants from various ages were also present and participated in a series of activities. The event is divided into two sessions. The first session was filled with the practice of full-aware life.
