Regarding Scholarship Program For Graduates Of The People's School Program, Minister Of Social Affairs: We Will Guard

BANDARLAMPUNG - The existence of a scholarship program for students who graduated from the People's School Program is recognized by the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf is being pursued.

"We direct students who graduate from the People's School to continue their future according to their interests. Some can go to college and some are directed to work according to the student's choice," said Saifullah Yusuf in South Lampung, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 12.

He said that his party was also working on scholarships to enter universities for students who graduated from the People's School Program.

"We will oversee the scholarships for entering universities for students who want to continue to higher education levels, while those who want to work will be trained to have skills," he said.

He explained, to improve the skills of the graduates of the People's School, his party will also provide skills education according to student interests and talents.

"The point is through the Government People's School trying to give students the opportunity to continue at the university level or to get to work immediately," he said.

According to him, through the Government People's School Program, efforts are made to ensure that people who fall into the poor and extreme poor groups can get access to proper education.

"This is an effort to improve the welfare of the people who are included in Desil 1 or those who are included in the poor and extreme poor through access to education," he added.

Previously, nationally, there were 65 points in several areas that were ready to implement the People's School Program in the 2025/2026 school year.
