Satpol PP And BPOM Overcome The Circulation Of Hard Drugs In Tanah Abang

The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) is coordinating with the integrated team of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) and the National Police to deal with the free sale of tramadol hard drugs in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of DKI Jakarta Province, Satriadi Gunawan, said several tramadol sales actors had been arrested.

"Until now, several (perpetrators) have been handed over to the Social Service such as in West Jakarta," said Satriadi in Jakarta, Sunday.

There are several locations that are carried out in collaboration and coordinating with the BPOM, Health Office and TNI-Polri integrated teams.

"We combed to the drug sales site," he said.

Satriadi explained that there were several perpetrators who sold in retail, such as in KS Tubun. From that location, two of the perpetrators have been arrested.

In this case, Satriadi said BPOM collects data on which drugs are prohibited.

However, until now Satriadi said that no evidence had been secured. However, patrols will continue to be intensified.

"Because it will develop until tomorrow and it will be conditional. To avoid leaking information so that the evidence is not hidden," said Satriadi.

Tramadol hard drugs are openly sold in front of the Textile Museum or the sidewalk of KS Tubun Street towards Tanah Abang Market Blok G, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The pain reliever drug is sold to road users who cross KS Tubun Street. Not only adults, even the drug is known to be consumed by many groups, including children.

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has promised to immediately take firm steps to eradicate his circulation freely.

"I will order the relevant agencies, especially the Satpol PP and will also coordinate with the Police. For such things we must fight together. That should not happen," said Pramono.
