JAKARTA - The Magistrat sentenced a defendant Bangladeshi student who was found guilty of harassing a female pathologist at Malaysia's light rail transit (LRT) in early 2025.

The mosque also sentenced the defendant Moshiur to an education at a private university in Malaysia with a fine of RM5,000.
The incident that happened to the victim was carried out by Moshiur on the LRT journey between Universiti Station and Bangsar Station in January 2025.
For his actions, Moshiur was charged with Article 354 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years or a fine or whip or two other sentences if found guilty.
