Beware Of Rain This Afternoon In South And East Jakarta, Other Areas Are Cloudy

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Jakarta's weather, especially the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas, will receive light rain on Friday, May 9 this afternoon.

This Jakarta weather forecast was conveyed by BMKG through its official Instagram account, @infobmkg.

Meanwhile, other areas such as West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are predicted to experience thick cloudy weather at the same time.

In the morning, the weather in all areas of Jakarta is predicted to be thick cloudy. This condition is predicted to continue until noon, except in West, Central, and North Jakarta which is predicted to be only cloudy.

Entering the night until midnight, the entire Jakarta area is predicted to be thick cloudy again, without the potential for rain.

The air temperature in the Jakarta area today is estimated to be in the range of 24 to 31 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, wind speeds in the capital city are predicted to range from 1 to 9 kilometers per hour.

The public is advised to remain alert to this change in Jakarta's weather, especially for those who are active outdoors in the afternoon in South and East Jakarta.
