Tuna Wicara Kills Neighbors In Kubu Raya West Kalimantan, Police Investigate Alleged Theft

The police are investigating the alleged theft in a murder case by a deaf person and a deaf person against a neighbor at BTN Teluk Mulus Housing, Teluk Kapuas Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kubu Raya Police, Iptu Hafiz Febrandani, said that his party was still conducting an investigation to reveal the motive of the perpetrator, Mariduan alias Obama, to commit the murder using a badik sharp weapon against his neighbor Diah Rindani.

"This investigation also includes the possibility of other factors affecting the behavior of the perpetrators," he said in Pontianak, Thursday, May 8, as reported by Antara.

Hafiz added that his party also carried out more in-depth verification regarding the condition of the perpetrator's family, which was known to be orphans.

"And find out if there is any influence from the environmental conditions where the perpetrators live who have contributed to this tragic event," he continued.

Hafiz explained that the perpetrator killed his neighbor on Wednesday night May 7. In this incident, two people were also injured as a result of preventing the perpetrators from carrying out their actions further. The injured victims were named Solikin and Tri Handayati.

On this occasion, Hafiz appealed to the public to provide information that could help the investigation process.

"We expect the participation of the community in providing relevant information so that we can resolve this case quickly and accurately. We also remind that no one takes action outside the law," he said.

Currently, the perpetrator is being held at the Kubu Raya Police Headquarters to undergo further legal proceedings. Meanwhile, the victim's body has been returned to his residence for burial.

The police also ensured that this case would be handled seriously in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
