JAKARTA - The Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) highlighted the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds and RSUD assets in the Examination Result Report (LHP) on the 2024 Banten Provincial Government Financial Report.

Head of V BPK RI Bobby Adhitiyo Rizaldi at the Plenary Meeting at the Banten Provincial DPRD, Serang City, said that his party noted a number of findings that needed improvement, one of which was in the main spotlight related to the management of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) at the SMA/SMK level.

BPK assesses that the planning and accountability for spending on BOS funds is not in accordance with the provisions. For this reason, BPK recommends imposing sanctions on the Head of the BOS Education Unit and Treasurer who does not follow the provisions for managing these funds.

"Wearing sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the legislation to the Head of the BOS Education Unit and Treasurer who does not follow the provisions of the planning, management and accountability of BOS Funds," said Bobby.

In addition, BPK also highlighted fixed assets in the form of buildings and medical equipment at Labuan Hospital and Cilograng Hospital which have not been used.

BPK asked for these assets to be immediately used as supporting expenditures for health services, such as medicines, finished medical materials (BMHP), patient food and drinks, as well as integration with the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS).

"Immediately take advantage of the Permanent Assets of Buildings and Medical Equipment at Labuan Hospital and Cilograng Hospital as well as spending on supporting health services in the form of drugs, BMHP, eating and drinking materials for patients, as well as SIMRS," said Bobby.

On the income side, BPK also noted that there is no optimal collection of levies for health services and parking fees outside the road which has the potential to cause loss of regional revenue. For this reason, BPK recommends updating the retribution rate for health services at SIMRS according to Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2024.

For information, until December 31, 2024, the Banten Provincial Government has completed 1,544 of the 1,809 recommendations for the results of the examination or 85.35 percent, exceeding the national target of 75 percent.

"I ask the Governor of Banten to continue to increase efforts to resolve follow-up recommendations. Of course, by coordinating and inviting the participation of the DPRD," said Bobby.

The submission of the Examination Result Report (LHP) on the 2024 Banten Provincial Government Financial Report was carried out by the Head of V BPK RI Bobby Adhitiyo Rizaldi to the Chairman of the Banten DPRD H. Fahmi Hakim. and the Governor of Banten Andra Soni.

Bobby also expressed his appreciation for the success of the Banten Provincial Government in maintaining an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for the 9th time in a row.

"This achievement should motivate local governments to continue to strive to increase accountability and transparency in regional financial management," said Bobby.
