Students In Cianjur Poisoned, Lab Test Results Find Bacteria At MBG Restaurant

CIANJUR - The Cianjur Resort Police, West Java, revealed the results of laboratory tests related to places to eat or plastic turnover used for Nutrition Lunch (MBG) found several bacteria but it has not been confirmed to be the cause of poisoning.

Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police AKP Tono Listianto said his party was still waiting for the results of other laboratory tests for food and vomit samples to determine the cause of mass poisoning after eating MBG.

"In the incident of mass poisoning, two samples were tested, a place to eat and a sample of food and vomit, for turnover tested at the Cianjur Labkesda, for food samples and vomit were tested at the West Java Provincial Labkesda," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 29.

The results of laboratory tests where the food has been released, where several bacteria Staphylococcus sp, Eschericia coli and Salmonela sp were found.

However, his party has not been able to conclude the results of the laboratory test as the cause of mass poisoning for dozens of students.

His party is still waiting for the results of the West Java laboratory, before concluding the exact cause of poisoning that befell dozens of students from two schools, MAN I and SMP PGRI I Cianjur some time ago, where most of them received treatment at the hospital.

"The information is that the test of food samples and vomit will come out after 10 working days, so investigators need to examine the examiners and conduct examinations of health experts," he said.

Until now, his party has asked for information from 30 witnesses regarding the mass poisoning of dozens of students after eating MBG, including the owner, manager, and officers in the MBG kitchen.

The Cianjur Resort Police conducted an examination of 10 people related to poisoning that hit dozens of students from two schools in Cianjur after eating Free Nutrition (MBG).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cianjur Police, AKP Tono Listianto, said that his party had visited the location, including the MBG kitchen which produces food for MBG in Cianjur District, by bringing food samples that are suspected to be the cause of poisoning.

"We have asked for clarification and information from 10 people starting from the person in charge of CV, the Head of the Cianjur District Nutrition Service Unit (SPPG), SPPG Nutritionists, three staff, a packaging team, and two food delivery couriers," he said.

To determine the cause of the mass poisoning, his party coordinated with various parties, starting from the Cianjur District Health Office and the West Java Province Labkesda, to conduct a quick examination of the food samples that had been confiscated.
