ATR Minister Orders Mayors To Gather Housing Developers Not Submitting Social Facilities

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of BPN Nusron Wahid instructed the Mayor (Walkot) of Tangerang to collect developers or housing developers who have not submitted public and social facilities (fasum) to the government.

"I give two weeks starting today to coordinate and collect all developers who have not submitted social and public facilities so that we can help with the process," said Minister Nusron at the launch of land and tax data integration at the Tangerang City Puspemkot, Wednesday, April 30, which was confiscated by Antara.

Minister Nusron's statement answered the request for Tangerang Mayor Sahrudin who wanted the role of BPN in accelerating the delivery of social and public facilities to the government.

Minister Nusron said he was ready to attend the meeting so that the process of handing over social facilities and public facilities was quickly completed.

He said this was because the social and public facilities would later be submitted by the developer, which could be used for various broader benefits.

"If later from social and public facilities have been submitted and there are rest, kindergarten schools, or others can be made. The ministry is ready to issue management rights and HGB," he said.

Tangerang Walkot Sahrudin said, currently out of 296 fasum and social facilities, only 86 have been submitted.

"We ask BPN to help so that it can be accelerated so that later the social and public facilities can be used by the government as they should," he said.
