The Chancellor Of Pancasila University Marsudi Dismissed

The Education and Development Foundation of Pancasila University (YPP-UP) has dismissed the Chancellor of Pancasila University (UP) Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo since Wednesday, April 30.

Marsudi's dismissal was carried out based on a Decree (SK) of the Chairperson of the YPP-UP Trustee Number: 04/KEP/KA.PEMB/YPP-UP/IV/2025 signed by Ir Suswono Yudo Husodo on April 24, 2025.

"I suspect this has something to do with cases of sexual violence committed by former UP Chancellor previously ETH," said Marsudi at the Jakarta UP Campus, Tuesday, April 29, as reported by ANTARA.

Moreover, he said, last week there were two new victims who made reports to the police regarding sexual violence allegedly committed by ETH.

"This report is even stronger, because there are CCTV footage that has been submitted to the National Police Headquarters," said Marsudi.

In addition, Marsudi also rejected the reactivation of ETH as an UP lecturer, thus angering the Foundation management.

After this incident, I heard widely that he would soon be removed from the UP rector. "Maybe I am considered the one who is looking for witnesses in the ETH case, even though I do not know the victim or his lawyer," he said.

Marsudi also explained that he was dismissed without asking for information from me first regarding his performance or mistakes.

"Suddenly I was called by the Foundation and given a decree for dismissal last Monday at 11.00 pm, without me being able to defend myself or anything else," he said.

Whereas according to the UP Statute, the rector's performance evaluation should be the task of the UP Senate, which the UP Senate is not involved in.
