Hasan Nasbi Resigns From The Position Of Head Of PCO

JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Hasan Nasbi resigned from his position. His resignation letter is said to have been sent to President Prabowo Subianto.

Hasan Nasbi conveyed the resignation through a video recording uploaded to the Instagram account @totalpolitikcom.

"Friends, Monday, April 21, 2025, is the last day I will undergo activities at the presidential communications office. That's why that day was immortalized," Hasan said in a video quoted on Tuesday, April 29.

The decision to resign is said to have been carefully considered. One of the reasons is because Hasan Nasbi thinks it is time to 'resistant'.

The letter of resignation as Head of the Presidential Communication Office is said to have been sent to President Prabowo through the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi; and Cabinet Secretary (Setkab), Teddy Indra Wijaya.

"My conclusion is very mature that it is time to pull off the field and sit in an audience chair. Give a better figure the opportunity to replace the position of playing on the field. So this is not a sudden decision and not an emotional decision," he said.

The resignation was also called for the good of the government's communication in the future. In addition, Hasan Nasbi did not forget to express his gratitude to President Prabowo for the trust that had been given to be part of the Red and White Cabinet members.

"But I also have to apologize to him if while serving the President, it is still far from what he hopes for," he said.

However, in the process of transitioning leadership at the communication office to the President later, if needed, Hasan Nasbi said he would continue to help.

"Even as an audience, my activities are certainly not far from the world of politics and government. And maybe that's what I can convey to all my friends," said Hasan Nasbi.
