GOWA - Seorang petani bernama Firman (27) luka parah setelah secara tidak sengaja memicu ledakan granat saat memotong rumput di kebunnya di Dusun Lemo-lemo, Kecamatan Tinggimoncong, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, Selasa, 22 April 2025.
Kapolsek Tinggimoncong AKP Anwar Mbyang membenarkan insiden tersebut. Ia menyatakan bahwa pihaknya saat ini masih menyelidiki asal-usul granat bersama jajaran Koramil 1409/Tinggimoncong.
“Masih dalam proses penyelidikan. Kami telah melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara bersama pihak TNI,” kata AKP Anwar di Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, Antara, Kamis, 24 April.
Menurut keterangan saksi mata yang juga ayah korban, H. Sudir, peristiwa bermula saat Firman sedang membersihkan rumput menggunakan parang.
Tanpa disadari, terdapat granat yang tersembunyi di antara tumpukan rumput. Ketika parang mengenai bagian detonator granat, ledakan pun terjadi.
Akibat ledakan tersebut, tiga jari tangan Firman terputus. Korban segera dilarikan warga ke puskesmas terdekat untuk mendapatkan perawatan medis. Hingga saat ini, Firman masih dirawat secara intensif.
Pihak kepolisian dan TNI telah mengamankan lokasi dan meminta warga untuk sementara waktu menjauhi area tersebut hingga proses sterilisasi selesai dilakukan.
“Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada. Jika menemukan benda-benda mencurigakan, terutama yang terbuat dari logam dan tertimbun di tanah, segera laporkan ke pihak berwajib,” tambah Kapolsek.
