JAKARTA - The University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI) has scored brilliant achievements by ranking 62nd in the list of 250 of the world's best education hospitals, based on the rankings released by Brand Finance in 2025.

"The decline in RSUI's ranking in the 62nd position from the world's 250 best hospitals is a very proud achievement," said UI Chancellor Heri Hermansyah at the UI Depok Campus, Antara, Wednesday, April 23.

Heri said this meant that the existence of RSUI was taken into account at the global level, thus entering the assessment radar with the world's top education hospitals, such as John Hopkins Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals and the Mayo Clinic Health System.

"We hope that RSUI can continue to transform and produce innovations that have an impact, so that its function as a health education and service hospital can continue to be perfected and improved. Congratulations to RSUI," he said.

Meanwhile, the President Director of RSUI Ari Kusuma Januarto said this achievement reflected the dedication of all RSUI teams and support from UI leaders and stakeholders in providing the best service and sustainable innovation in the health sector.

RSUI will continue to be committed to developing human resources in the fields of health, research, and medical innovation. The target is that by 2030, RSUI will become a world-class education hospital, in line with efforts to improve the quality of hospital services and transformation.

Brand Finance is an international event in determining the reputation of a hospital that is assessed in several categories, namely the category of patient care, medical research, education and training and awareness and familiarity, which reflects the overall service.

The assessment was carried out using a methodology that included interviews with doctors, surgeons, and other health care providers. Interviews were conducted in 47 countries across the continent, involving 50 AMCs and 2500 professional health workers.

The Brand Strength Index (BSI) in the ranking process includes 3 main pillars, namely Investment (25 percent), Equity (50 percent) and Performance (25 percent), from the results of all assessment components, RSUI is considered superior in assessments that include patient care, medical research, education, training, as well as awareness and familiarity.

Therefore, the ranking of RSUI in 2025 has increased significantly, after previously being in the 153rd position in 2023 and 2024.
