JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR) always appoints the same partner to watch out the advertising procurement process.

KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said the allegations were investigated by three witnesses who were questioned on Thursday, April 17. All of them have been questioned by investigators at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"The witness was investigated regarding their knowledge and role related to procurement engineering at Bank BJB to appoint the same partner from 2021-2023," Tessa told reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, April 22.

The witnesses being questioned were Roni Hidayat Ardiansyah as BJB Internal Financial Manager, Wijnya Wedhyatama as Supervision Officer for the Procurement of Logistics IT and Other Services at the BJB General Division, Dadang Hamdani Djumyat, who is a former Group Head of Logistics Procurement IT and Other Services.

Previously reported, the KPK named five suspects for alleged corruption in the placement of advertisements for PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten, Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR) for the period 2021-2023. They are former President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi and Head of Bank BJB Corporate Secretary Division Widi Hartoto.

The investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued on February 27, 2025.
