In the 2+2, Indonesia and China meeting, Indonesia agreed to increase law enforcement cooperation, including mutual legal assistance, intelligence exchange, and operational coordination in tackling transnational crimes, cybercrime, and extremism.

As part of efforts to build strategic trust, the two countries also agreed to form a new bilateral consultation mechanism in the field of weapons reduction, non-proliferation and arms control.

In the maritime sector, Indonesia and China agreed to increase cooperation, including strengthening coordination between the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency and the China Coast Guard.
