Ministry Of Religion Extends Hajj Fee Repayment Period In Natuna

The office of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Natuna Regency, Riau Islands, stated that the government has extended the payment period for the second phase of the Hajj Travel Fee (Bipih) until April 25, 2025.

Acting Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organization Section of the Natuna Nasoha Ministry of Religion Office said that according to schedule, the payment period should end on April 17, 2025.

The extension policy is the decision of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), and all districts and cities to follow suit.

"All Hajj candidates from Natuna, including reserve pilgrims, have paid Bipih," he said, quoting Antara.

The Ministry of Religion recorded 59 prospective pilgrims from Natuna. Of these, eight people are backups and one person is a district Hajj officer.

Thus, the number of Hajj candidates who are included in the quota or depart is 51 people.

"Regarding the departure of eight prospective reserve hajj candidates, we are still waiting for a decision until April 25," he said.

He explained that six prospective hajj candidates who entered the quota decided to postpone their departure. Therefore, six people from prospective reserves are expected to be dispatched.

He hopes that the other two reserve people can also depart this year.

"However, in calculation, with the presence of six people who postponed their departure, it was possible for six prospective reserve hajj candidates to depart, because their reserve serial number was below 100," he said.

All processes in the country, worship in the Holy Land until the return of the pilgrims are expected to run smoothly and safely.

"We urge pilgrims to always maintain their health," he said.
