JAKARTA - Most areas of Jakarta are predicted to be shrouded in thick clouds this Saturday morning.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) through its social media pages, Instagram on Saturday predicts that West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta will be thick cloudy in the morning, then cloudy during the day.

Quoting Antara, the four administrative cities in Jakarta will be hit by light rain from 16.00 WIB to the evening around 19.00 WIB. The average temperature of West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta is 27 degrees Celsius.

Central Jakarta is also predicted to be thick cloudy this morning, but it will last until the afternoon. The area may be hit by light rain at night around 19.00 WIB. Central Jakarta's average temperature is 27 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands are predicted to be hit by thunderstorms this morning, then rain with light intensity around 07.00 WIB. At around 10.00 WIB, the area is likely to be thick cloudy until 13.00 WIB and light rain will return at around 19.00 WIB. The average temperature today in the Thousand Islands is 28 degrees Celsius.
