JAKARTA - A woman with an earthquake was caught on CCTV cameras stealing a sum of money and gold jewelry belonging to her employer in the Kembangan area, West Jakarta.
The incident went viral on social media Instagram account @jakartabarat24jam on Friday 11 April 2025. The face of the perpetrator was clearly recorded by CCTV surveillance camera footage.
It was later discovered that the theft occurred on Jalan Kembangan Elok 2, Puri Indah Blok H3 No. 71, Kembangan Selatan Village, Kembangan District, West Jakarta.
Kembangan police chief, Kompol Taufik said that his party had checked the scene.
"The Kembangan Police have checked with the crime scene," said Kompol Taufik, Friday, April 11.
Meanwhile, the victim reported the theft to the Polda Metro Jaya.
