JAMBI - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jambi Police revealed a corruption case at the Jambi Province Education Office (Disdik) which caused state losses of Rp. 21.89 billion.

Wadir Reskrimsus Jambi Police AKBP Taufik Nurmandia said the major corruption allegations that were revealed were related to the procurement of main practice equipment included in the physical DAK SMK.

The suspect in this case was charged with Article 2 Paragraph 1, Article 3, Article 5 Paragraph 2 Junto, Article 18 Junto, and Article 15 of the Constitution Number 31 of 1999 related to Corruption with a minimum penalty of four years and a maximum of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of IDR 1 billion.
