JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission X DPR RI, Hetifah Sjaifudian, welcomed President Prabowo Subianto's steps in signing Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 19 of 2025 concerning Employee Performance Allowances within the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
Hetifah also encouraged the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology to issue a Ministerial Regulation (Permen) to follow up on the Presidential Regulation.
According to Hetifah, the Presidential Regulation confirms the country's commitment to promoting the welfare of lecturers and ASN within the Ministry of Education and Technology, Saintek. As well as strengthening the spirit of bureaucratic reform in the higher education and research sectors.

There should be no delays. The lecturers have waited quite a while," said the Golkar legislator.
Furthermore, Hetifah explained, that in the Presidential Decree, the performance allowance was determined to be given to all employees within the Ministry of Education and Technology, including ASN lecturers, with the amount that adjusts the class of positions and performance achievements. However, exceptions were also applied, including lecturers at state universities with legal entities (PTNBH), as well as those who have received BLU remuneration.
In the future, said Hetifah, Commission X of the DPR RI will carry out strict supervisory functions so that the disbursement is carried out fairly, accountably, and non-discriminatory.
"We also want to ensure that there are no bureaucratic obstacles that hinder the disbursement, both at the center and at the university," said Hetifah.
