Allegedly Wrong Target, Man In Koja Hacked While Sitting In A Street Stall

JAKARTA - A man with the initials RPJ (25) became the victim of a stabbing by an unknown person (OTK) while hanging out at a shop near the Jami Al Faaiziin Mosque, Plumpang Sempet Street, RT 05/04, Rawa Badak Selatan, Koja, North Jakarta, Wednesday (9/4) at around 03.30 WIB.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police, AKP Alex Chandra, confirmed the incident. He explained that the victim, who was sitting casually in the shop, was suddenly brutally attacked by the perpetrator who came suddenly and immediately slashed the victim.

"The victim suffered lacerations to his left, right, and knee wounds as a result of the perpetrator's attack," Alex said when confirmed, Wednesday.

After the incident, the RPJ was immediately rushed to the Koja Hospital for medical treatment.

The police are currently investigating the case. Based on the initial information from the five witnesses who have been examined, the RPJ is suspected of being the victim of a mistargeted brawl group.

"It is suspected that the victim is not the main target, but the wrong target of a brawl between groups," said Alex.

Currently, the police are still conducting further investigations to reveal the identity of the stabbing perpetrator.

"Still under investigation," he concluded.
