TANGERANG Agam Muhammad, son of the late Ilyas Abdurahman who was the victim of a shooting at the Rest Area KM 45 of the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road, asked the Tangerang District Court (PN) panel of judges to impose a maximum sentence on the defendants in the car embezzlement case that led to the death of his father.
He conveyed the request after the inaugural trial on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He assessed that the defendants had committed systematic and organized crimes.
"Don't lighten the sentence of these defendants because this is a very systematic crime," said Agam at the Tangerang District Court.
According to Agam, the four defendants allied themselves in carrying out embezzlement. Some rented cars, some falsified identities, and some received cars resulting from crimes.
"Hopefully the defendants will be punished severely. We ask the Chief Justice of the Panel of Judges to impose a commensurate sentence for their actions," he said.

Two Defendants Charged With Layered Articles

Article 481 of the Criminal Code
