Head of the Kelurahan Deliberation Institute (LMK) RW 03 Kebon Manggis, Rudi Hartono, revealed that the initial cracks on the road had actually been seen some time ago, but were not immediately handled by related parties.

"We have reported it, but there has been no serious handling. Even though this is the responsibility of BBWSCC," he explained.
Rudi added that the collapsed road was the main access for residents to Manggarai Station and the surrounding area. Now, residents have to turn two kilometers to reach their destination.

Responding to this incident, the Acting Mayor of East Jakarta, Iin Mutmainnah, stated that his party had communicated with BBWSCC regarding the damage.
"We have submitted a written report from the kelurahan and sub-district. And from the city level it has also been communicated," explained Iin.
He added that the City Government will continue to encourage coordination so that road access for residents can be repaired immediately.
