JAKARTA - Thailand's largest hospital located in Bangkok, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun, on Friday said it was delaying plans for operations and services amid the earthquake.
"For the safety of patients, families and staff, Siriraj Hospital has postponed the service. We temporarily suspend special clinical operations outside of regular working hours and cancel all non-emergency operations," the hospital said in a statement.
The decision took effect from 4 pm local time (9 am GMT), Friday (28/3) until 12 pm, Sunday (30/3).
Meanwhile, Myanmar authorities have announced the collection of emergency blood donors, given the large number of injured victims.
