DPR Angry THR Health Workers At Sardjito Hospital Only Liquid 30 Percent: Should Have Been One Month's Salary

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission IX of the House of Representatives Nihayatul Wafiroh was furious and disappointed with Sardjito Hospital management's decision regarding the payment of holiday allowances (THR) for all local health workers, which was only paid 30 percent.

According to him, THR disbursement should be paid a minimum of one month's salary.

Nihayatul also asked the hospital management, which is known to be under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, not to stand idly by and immediately pay the THR according to the provisions.

"I just heard about the problem. As far as I know, the THR is paid a minimum of one month's salary. So if it is only paid 30 percent, of course it is not appropriate. I ask the management to solve the problem," said Ninik, Wednesday, March 26.

The head of the Health and Inclusion Disabilities Division of the PKB DPP assessed that the high workload of health workers (nakes) should be a benchmark for giving THR in full.

"The reflection is the workload of health workers. They are very complicated, you know, even in my opinion the main bastion of public health is in health workers," he said.

"This should be a concern and consideration of how THR for them is not only 30 percent," said Ninik.

He urged the Ministry of Health to step in to find a solution to the THR problem wrapped around the health workers. Not only at Sardjito Hospital, Ninik also asked for similar problems in other hospitals to be addressed immediately.

"I ask the Ministry of Health to intervene to solve this problem. Not only at Sardjito Hospital, but at other hospitals please solve it. I also received a report from the Healthcare Officer at the Cianjur Sayang Hospital who also experienced the same problem," he concluded.

Previously, hundreds of health workers (nakes) and employees at RSUP dr. Sardjito protested that the holiday allowance (THR) which was disbursed was only 30 percent of the incentive amount.

They had an audience with the board of directors of RSUP Dr Sardjito including the President Director of Dr. Eniarti on Tuesday, March 25. However, the audience did not produce a solution or dead end.
