The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government ensures the safety of residents' houses in five areas of the city of Jakarta to the Thousand Islands during the 2025 Eid homecoming through joint patrols.
"In this case, the Jakarta government will carry out surveillance patrols to provide a sense of security and comfort for people who go home for Lebaran," said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung at the KH Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Saturday, March 22.
Pramono appealed to residents to tell their neighbors if they decided to go home during the Lebaran 2025 period.
"For anyone who leaves the house, of course, it is also conveyed to residents, neighbors and their surroundings because our current environmental security system (sikamling) is very good," said Pramono.
In addition, residents are also advised to always lock their homes and, whenever possible, bring their valuables.
"No less important, don't forget to lock the house. If there are valuables, it's better not to leave them at home," said Pramono.
