Six Umrah pilgrims from Indonesia died in a bus accident that overturned and caught fire in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
Indonesian Consul General Jeddah Yusron Ambary said the bus was carrying 20 groups from Bojonegoro, East Java, including two officers, supervisors and from travel companies.
"Six people died, the rest were injured. Three injured victims are still undergoing treatment at the hospital, 11 others are already at a hotel in Makkah to continue the worship program," explained Consul General Yusron in a zoom meeting Friday, March 31.

Previously reported, the Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah received information that there was a bus accident in Wadi Qudeid (Madinah-Mecca Road) about 150 km from Jeddah City on March 20, 2025 at 13.30 local time or 17.30 WIB.
