Hotman Paris Ready To Help With School Fees For A Kid Who Locks His Father, A KRI Nanggala-402 Crew In The Room

JAKARTA - The famous lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea stated that he was ready to help with the education costs of the child who locked his father, the KRI Nanggala-402 crew in a room. This video of the son forbidding his father to go viral on social media.

“Hotman Paris is very sad to hear about the incident of the KRI Nanggala submarine, the KRI Nanggala submarine accident. But Hotman is even sadder after seeing a viral video where a little boy, tries to lock up forbidding his father from going sailing to the submarine, sad to see. Whether it's a hunch or not, only God knows,” said Hotman Paris via his hotmanparisofficial Instagram account, Monday, April 26.

Hotman Paris asked for help so that he could be connected with the families of the children of the KRI Nanggala-402 crew. For Hotman Paris, the incident experienced by the 53 crew members of the KRI Nanggala-402 while on duty was very sad.

"Hotman Paris is willing to help pay for the children's school education as proof of the concern and loyalty of the state apparatus who have served the country and the nation by carrying out their duties with very heavy risks. So please have the child's family to contact Hotman Paris, I am willing to help with the child's school fees,” said Hotman.

Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) confirmed that the 53 crew of the KRI Nanggala submarine that sank in waters north of Bali received promotions. In addition, the crew of this ship will also receive a service star as a form of respect.

"The state will award a promotion to one level higher and Jalasena Service Medal for the dedication and sacrifice of the best soldier," Jokowi said in a press conference broadcast on the YouTube account of the Presidential Secretariat, Monday, April 26.

What is meant by Jalasena Service Medal is a sign of honor given to members of the Navy in the military field who show extraordinary abilities, wisdom, and services beyond the call of duty without prejudice to their main duties.

Apart from giving promotions, the education of the 53 children of the KRI Nanggala-402 crew who died will also be guaranteed.

"The government will also guarantee the education of the sons and daughters of the KRI Nanggala-402 judges to the undergraduate level," said Jokowi.

Jokowi said the dozens of crew of the German-made submarine were the nation's best sons.

"On behalf of the government and all Indonesian people, I would like to express my deep sorrow for the deaths of 53 Indonesian Navy soldiers at KRI Nanggala-402 in carrying out their duties," he said.

Furthermore, Jokowi also expressed his gratitude to all parties who have made their best efforts to search for the submarine. This was also conveyed to the international community who had provided assistance during the search mission.

"I would also like to thank and appreciate the assistance from friendly countries in cooperation, hard work in the search for the KRI Nanggala-402," he said.
