The Perpetrators Of The Robbery And Rape In Depok Were Arrested, It Turned Out That The Methamphetamine Courier

JAKARTA - The robbery case accompanied by the rape of a woman with the initial Y that occurred in the Pancoran Mas area, Depok, was finally revealed. The perpetrator was arrested after being hunted for three days.

"After processing the crime scene, the investigation from the police and the Depok Metro Police was backed up by the Direskrimum Polda Metro Jaya ranks within three days the two suspects were arrested," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Wednesday, March 19.

The main perpetrator who carried out the robbery and rape was thrown in with the initials RR. The arrest took place on Tuesday, March 17. Meanwhile, another suspect is HHP, which is a collector of stolen goods.

"(The suspect) was arrested while trying to sell methamphetamine," he said.

Departing from this, investigators explored the background of the suspect. Apparently, RR is a courier and small drug dealer. In fact, at the time of his arrest, investigators also found 2 grams of methamphetamine.

"The RR suspect is unemployed while working as a courier and drug dealer," said Ade.

Not only that, the suspect RR is also known as a recidivist in a rape case who was found guilty in 2016.

Meanwhile, regarding the involvement of the suspect HHP because he bought the stolen cellphone from RR for Rp. 700 thousand. Both are friends of the boarding house.

"It was sold for IDR 700 thousand. Then IDR 700 thousand was used to buy methamphetamine," said Ade.

In this case, suspect RR is suspected of under Article 365 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence with a maximum imprisonment of 9 years and Article 285 of the Criminal Code which is a maximum imprisonment of 12 years.

Meanwhile, for the narcotics case of suspect RR, the police are still continuing to develop further.
