Petasan Maker In Temanggung Arrested During COD, 5 Kg Of Mercon Materials Secured

The Temanggung Resort Police (Polres) is still detaining the fireworks drug maker with the initials LN (22), a resident of Gintung Bendo Hamlet, Tampingan Village, Tegalrejo, Magelang Regency.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Temanggung Police, AKP Didik Tri Wibowo, confirmed the arrest of LN. He said the LN perpetrator was arrested after receiving information that there would be a sale and purchase transaction of explosives / fireworks by cash on delivery (COD).

LN was then arrested at the Progo River Park, Kranggan Highway, Temanggung Regency, on Friday, March 7 at around 16.45 WIB. Evidence of 5 kilograms of firecrackers was also secured.

Based on the perpetrator's information, the investigation was carried out at the perpetrator's house, which finally found 7.5 kilograms of aluminum powder, 1.3 kg potassium (KClO3), 1.1 kilograms of sulfur, 1 pack of clear plastic.

The police also confiscated 1 scale, 1 filter made of plastic, 1 complainant made of wood, and several sheets of paper.

Pelaku LN mengaku membuat petion selfdidak dengan cara belajar lewat video pembuatan di YouTube. Adapun bahan-bahan tersebut dibeli sendiri oleh pelaku.

For his actions, the perpetrators of LN were charged with Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning criminal acts of anyone without the right to enter, make, receive, try to obtain, hand over, control, carry, have supplies, store, transport, hide, use, or issue firearms, munitions, or explosives to Indonesia.

"With the threat of a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison," said AKP Didik, confiscated by Antara.
