Israeli-made Drone Hits South Korean Helicopter, North Korea Accused Of Disrupting GPS Signal

JAKARTA - South Korean military drone collided with a helicopter that was stopped at the airport. This incident caused a fire which was then extinguished in about 20 minutes without causing any casualties.

South Korea's Ministry of Defense explained the drone was an Israeli-made Heron, a large reconnaissance drone.

South Korea has accused North Korea of trying to disrupt GPS signals at the time of the accident in Yangju, north of Seoul, the report said.

In November last year, the same type of unmanned aerial vehicle crashed around the same area.
