Minister Of PANRB: Agencies That Are Ready To Lift CASN In April 2025

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini invites agencies that are ready to appoint candidates for civil servants or CASN in 2024 to start in April 2025.

"Usually in the CASN settlement, there is indeed time to wait and we have accelerated this. So, maybe later each agency will also summon ASN candidates," said Rini in a press conference 'Permanding CASN 2024' at the PANRB Ministry Office, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, March 17.

"If they can, they are ready to lift it in April, for example, if they are really ready, there will be no such problem," he continued.

If government agencies are not ready to appoint CASN faster than President Prabowo Subianto's instructions, the agency can make a summons to provide orientation.

Previously, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto decided to accelerate the appointment of CASN for the 2024 formation. Prospective civil servants (CPNS) will be appointed no later than June 2025, while government employees with a work agreement (PPPK) will be completed no later than October 2025.

Some time earlier, the PANRB Ministry announced that the appointment of prospective civil servants (CPNS) in 2024 was carried out simultaneously on October 1, 2025, while the PPPK stages I and II were held simultaneously in March 2026.

Deputy for Human Resources of the Ministry of PANRB Aba Subagja said the simultaneous appointment was intended so that all CASN who had passed the selection could start working at the same time.

"So, they will work at the same time. So, simultaneously," said Aba.

However, this policy was protested by CASN 2024 who had passed because some of them had resigned from their old workplace.
