LAMPUNG - Police have mapped potential landslides and floods in the Lebaran 2025 homecoming route in Lampung Province.

"We detected nine landslide-prone and flood-prone points in the homecoming route spread across several districts and cities in Lampung Province," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Kombes Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, Monday, March 17, as reported by Antara.

He explained that the nine disaster points were scattered in Bandarlampung City, South Lampung Regency, Tanggamus, Pesisir Barat, West Lampung, and Waykanan.

"In Bandarlampung, travelers must be vigilant in the Koala area, Teluk Betung Selatan District, Bandarlampung City, which has the potential to experience flooding," he said.

Then, continued the Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, travelers must also be aware of the Pasir Putih area, Katibung District, and Sragi District in South Lampung which is also at risk of flooding.

"In addition, Tanggamus Regency also has a vulnerable point in Pekon Sedayu, Sembika District, which has the potential to experience floods and landslides," he said.

In Pesisir Barat Regency, he continued, Pekon Biha was detected as an area prone to flooding. Meanwhile, in West Lampung Regency, there are several points that need to be watched out for, such as the Pekon Kubu Boat and Pekon Biha which are at risk of flooding and landslides.

"Furthermore, the Liwa-Krui route is prone to landslides, as well as Pekon Way Semangka and Pekon Batu Kebayan which have the potential to experience landslides," he said.

Meanwhile, he continued, in Way Kanan Regency, travelers need to be vigilant when crossing Kiling Village and Sri Menanti Village who are prone to flooding.

"We urge the public to always pay attention to weather information and lane conditions before traveling, especially in these disaster-prone areas," he said.
