JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has re-opened registration for the free homecoming program. Residents can register for free homecoming in this second batch on Wednesday, March 19.

"The registration for free homecoming for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in 2025 has been reopened. Prospective participants can re-register online through mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Syafrin Liputo in his statement, Monday, March 17.

Registration for free homecoming has reopened because a number of registrants in the first batch did not pass verification. In this second batch, the DKI Transportation Agency will verify the registration documents from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 24, 2025.

"The files needed (during verification) are family cards (KK), priority for DKI Jakarta ID cards, and STNK when carrying motorbikes," said Syafrin.

The DKI Provincial Government has previously opened a registration for the first batch of free homecoming on March 7. One day after opening, the registration quota is full. After verifying the registrant file, the free homecoming quota is back available.

In this year's Eid, the DKI Provincial Government will send travelers to 20 cities in 6 provinces. Meanwhile, the motorcyclists were delivered to 6 terminals. The DKI Provincial Government has prepared 520 buses with a capacity of 22,403 people. Also provided are 20 trucks to transport 600 two-wheeled vehicles.

Free homecoming passengers will depart from the National Monument on March 27, 2025. Meanwhile, the truck carrying a motorbike will depart from the Pulogadung Terminal on March 26, 2025.

Then, the truck departure from the six terminals for homecoming to Jakarta will be carried out on April 5, 2025 and the bus returns to Jakarta from the 20 terminals for homecoming on April 6, 2025.
