Facts Of A Glowing White Figure At The Rizieq Shihab Session Claimed To Be 'Waliyullah'

JAKARTA - A YouTube account called Journalist shared a video that claimed a white, glowing figure at the trial of former Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) leader Rizieq Shihab at the East Jakarta Court.

The glowing white figure who was claimed to be the Waliyullah (Saint) was seen kneeling in front of Rizieq Shihab who was sitting on the defendant's chair.

“LATEST NEWS ~ SUBHANALLAH !!! WALIYULLAH APPEARED AT THE HABIB RIZIEQ Trial | VIRAL TODAY", which was the title of the YouTube video posting reported by era.id.

However, after being traced, it was reported by the turnbackhoax.id page that the image was the result of an edit.

A similar image on the cover page photo of the Suaraislam.id article entitled "Habib Rizieq: Saya, Menantu dan Dokter Andi Tata Jadi Tersangka karena Laporan Bima Arya", was uploaded March 27, 2021 and in the picture there is no luminous white figure kneeling in front of Rizieq.

Thus, the claim that the photo of the person kneeling in front of Rizieq while undergoing the trial process is untrue and is included in the category of manipulated content.

To note, the East Jakarta District Court previously held a further trial of Rizieq Shihab regarding the crowd case in Petamburan and Megamendung, on April 22, 2021.

The trial scheduled for an examination of witnesses from the public prosecutor. The witnesses who were presented were Head of Megamendung Sub-District Endi Rismawan, Head of the Bogor District Civil Service Police Unit Agus Ridhallah, Head of Civil Service Police Unit Public Control Division Bogor Regency Teguh Sugiarto, and Head of the Section for Peace and Order, Megamendung District, Iwan Volawan.

During the trial, the prosecutor also presented about five witnesses who will provide information regarding the crowd case in Petamburan in the next trial on April 22, 2021.

The case of the crowd in Petamburan itself is included in case number 221 with the defendant Rizieq Shihab, as well as case number 222 for the same case files with defendants H. Haris Ubaidillah, H. Ahmad Sabri Lubis, Ali Alwi Alatas, Idrus Alias Idrus Al Habsyi, and Maman Suryadi.
