Three Thieves Of Share Part Ships At The Penjaringan Workshop Arrested By Police In Two Different Locations

The three perpetrators of the theft of spare parts at the Buhori ship repair shop located in Muara Baru Rusun Blok XI, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, were arrested by the police. The theft occurred when the owner of the workshop was going home to his hometown last Tuesday at around 10.00 WIB.

The Head of the Penjaringan Metro Police, AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya, revealed that the three perpetrators with the initials JF, AR, and AL were arrested in the Penjaringan area on Tuesday, March 11 at around 22.30 WIB.

"We arrested the three perpetrators with the initials JF, AR, and AL in Penjaringan on Tuesday at around 22.30 WIB," said AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya, ANTARA, Thursday, March 13.

According to Agus, the perpetrators stole several metals, three welding gas cylinders, compressors, drilling machines, and a number of other equipment. The total loss suffered by the victim is estimated at IDR 80 million.

After finding out that his workshop had been burglarized, the victim and her husband reported the incident to the Penjaringan Metro Police. The Mobile Investigation Team (Resmob) from the Penjaringan Metro Police then conducted an intensive investigation to reveal the perpetrator behind the theft.

From the results of the development of the case, officers managed to find the whereabouts of the three perpetrators and made arrests in two different locations, namely Kampung Pojok Muara Baru and Rusun Muara Baru.

During the interrogation process, the perpetrators admitted their actions and revealed that the stolen goods were sold in Muara Baru's iron stall.

"Furthermore, we will secure the perpetrators to the North Jakarta Penjaringan Metro Police Headquarters for further investigation," added AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya.

The three perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding the crime of theft with weighting. They face a maximum sentence of nine years in prison.

This case is still in the process of further investigation to ensure that no other perpetrators are involved.
