According to Agus, the perpetrators stole several metals, three welding gas cylinders, compressors, drilling machines, and a number of other equipment. The total loss suffered by the victim is estimated at IDR 80 million.

After finding out that his workshop had been burglarized, the victim and her husband reported the incident to the Penjaringan Metro Police. The Mobile Investigation Team (Resmob) from the Penjaringan Metro Police then conducted an intensive investigation to reveal the perpetrator behind the theft.

From the results of the development of the case, officers managed to find the whereabouts of the three perpetrators and made arrests in two different locations, namely Kampung Pojok Muara Baru and Rusun Muara Baru.

"Furthermore, we will secure the perpetrators to the North Jakarta Penjaringan Metro Police Headquarters for further investigation," added AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya.

The three perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding the crime of theft with weighting. They face a maximum sentence of nine years in prison.
