Director General Of PAS Asks For Help Finding Dozens Of Kutacane Prison Prisoners Who Escape: I'm OK

The Director General of Corrections (Dirjen PAS), Mashudi, asked for help from all village heads (kades), sub-district heads, and community leaders to secure and return prisoners who had escaped from the Kutacane Penitentiary (Lapas), Aceh.

He made the request during an audience with government officials in Southeast Aceh Regency, which was held in the Southeast Aceh Education Hall.

"I ask the sub-district head, village head, community leaders, religious leaders, Dandim, the police chief and all parties. Only 26 inmates have not returned," said Mashudi, Wednesday, March 12.

Mashudi stated that he would guarantee the safety of the escaped prisoners if they were handed over to the prison. They will not be punished because of the escape action.

"I guarantee that nothing will be given, it will be handed over properly, it can be directed to the police station or directly to the prison," said Mashudi,

It is known that 52 inmates or inmates escaped from the Southeast Aceh Kutacane Prison, Aceh. Currently, 26 of them have been secured again.

Of the dozens of prisoners who have been re-secured, some of them surrendered. In fact, some were delivered directly by his family to return to Kutacane Prison.

The escape of dozens of inmates occurred on Monday, March 10 before breaking the fast. Some of them fled through the main door and some from the roof of the prison.
