Persiba Catur Adi's Director Is Called The Ruler Of East Kalimantan Drugs, Has An Hand In Prison

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri stated that they were recruited from the Persiba Balikpapan football club, Catur Adi, which is a large dealer in the East Kalimantan (Kaltim) region. In fact, it is called a drug controller in the Correctional Institution (Lapas).

"So I can conclude that C is a narcotics dealer in the East Kalimantan region," said the Director of Narcotics Crime at the National Police, Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, to reporters, Monday, March 10.

Catur Adi's work as a drug dealer is said to have been around for a long time. Although it did not specify, the involvement of the Director of Persiba Balikpapan in the dark world of drugs has long been detected.

"Since when? It's been a long time. This will be sniffed by us for a long time," he said.

In fact, Catur is said to have many accomplices in drug trafficking. Especially in Balikpapan Class II prison.

"That E is the controller regulated by C as the controller there for drug trafficking in Balikpapan Class 2 prison," said Mukti.

The disclosure of the Catur Adi network began when a joint team from Bareskrim Polri, Polda East Kalimantan, and the prison held a raid on February 27, 2025. The raid was carried out because of information on the possession of three kilograms of crystal methamphetamine in the prison.

"Getting the information, the information was initially 3 kilos, and now only 69 grams are secured," he said.

In addition, from the prosecution, eight people who were subordinates of Catur were arrested. They are methamphetamine traders in prisons.

"They are E as controllers in prisons. Then S, J, S, A, A, B, F, and E as sellers in prisons," said Mukti.

From the suspects, in particular E, information was obtained if the money for selling methamphetamine was deposited with D. Then it was re-developed and led to R and K.

Of the two people, it is known that the account used to accommodate the proceeds from drug sales is controlled by Catur processing.

"So this C is the ruler of East Kalimantan," said Mukti.
