Toyota Alphard Driver Denies Persecution Of Motorcyclists In Cilincing

Toyota Alphard driver with police number B 99 NEO denied allegations of mistreatment of a motorcycle rider with the initials HK in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta, which occurred on Tuesday, March 4. Through his attorney, the driver claims that the incident was a misunderstanding that led to arguments between the two parties.

According to the Alphard driver, the incident began when he was about to push back the car on Jalan Kebon Baru, Semper Barat Village, Cilincing, on Tuesday night, March 4, at around 22.30 WIB. At that time, the position of the motorcycle driven by HK with his biological mother, EJS, was right behind the car and was wearing a horn twice.

"When I was about to push the car back, suddenly a horn was heard from behind. I came out to make sure no one was injured or affected by the maneuver," said the Toyota Alphard driver, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, March 10.

The driver stated that the debate occurred after the victim's mother, EJS, issued words that were considered provocative. Alphard drivers tried to explain the situation but the victim, HK, interfered in the debate.

"I'm just trying to give an explanation. There is no intention of committing violence. I even ask that this problem be resolved properly," he said.

However, the Alphard driver admitted that he had taken EJS's cell phone because he felt uncomfortable with the recording action that was done without permission. However, he stated that no acts of abusive or physical abuse were carried out.

"I took the cellphone because I was disturbed by the recording action taken by the victim's mother. I did not abuse anything," he said.

This case is currently under investigation by the Cilincing Police of the North Jakarta Metro Police. Alphard drivers hope that this case can be resolved peacefully without causing harm to both parties.
