JAKARTA - A false plan to attack the synagoge in Sydney, Australia, uses explosives-filled explosives designed by organized crime networks to divert police resources.

Authorities in January found explosives in a trailer, which could create an explosion wave as high as 40 meters (130 ft), along with a synagoge address in Sydney that was targeted.

But police on Monday, March 10, said the discovery was part of a "criminal cooperation". There were no detonators found. Police said the plan to attack the Jewish target was just fabrication.

"The bill will never cause mass casualties, but instead engineered by criminals who want to cause fear for personal gain," said Deputy Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police for National Security Krissy Barrett.

"Effort investigators believe that the rope is part of a fabricated terrorism plan", he continued.

Police have yet to make any arrests regarding planning the fake plan, but have announced the information to the public to provide a sense of security to the Jewish community in Sydney, Dave Hudson, Deputy Commissioner of New South Wales Police, told a news conference.

"The goal is to create chaos in society, pose a threat, cause unrest, divert police resources from their daily jobs, so that they focus on things that allow them to rise or engage in other criminal activities," Hudson said.

Police are investigating a suspect involved in an organized crime network.

Australia has experienced a series of antisemites (anti-Yahudi) attacks in recent months.

Houses, schools, synagoge, and vehicles were targeted by vandalism and arson, which angered the country's ally, Israel.
