Pramono Continues Land Acquisition For Ciliwung Normalization In 3 Kelurahan, This Is The Area

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will continue the process of land acquisition for the normalization of the Ciliwung River in three urban villages, namely Ciliwung and Cawang, East Jakarta and Pengadegan, South Jakarta.

Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Office, Hendri, said that land acquisition in Cawang Village was 411 plots of land, 162 Chinese Bidara plots of land, and 61 Scenes of land.

"The area of land to be acquired in Cawang is 58,946 square meters, the scene is 13,101 square meters, and the Chinese Bidara is 57,035 square meters," Hendri told reporters, Monday, March 10.

Hendri explained, in the Ciliwung normalization project, the DKI Provincial Government is tasked with acquiring land. The land that has been acquired will be used for river widening.

"The river will be blocked and inspection roads built. The Ministry of Public Works is the Ciliwung Cisadane River Basin (BBWSCC)," said Hendri.

In addition to the normalization of Ciliwung, the DKI Provincial Government has also installed embankments or sheet piles on the edges of many times in Jakarta. The installation of embankments aims to tackle landslides around rivers/rivers.

"The sheet pile that has been built is like in Pesanggrahan River, West Jakarta and Sunter River, Pulomas Pump segment, North Jakarta," he said.

Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung targeted land acquisition in the near future to be carried out in the areas of Pengadegan, Ciliwung, and Bidara Cina. This is because the area experienced the worst impact of flooding during the high rainfall intensity in Jabodetabek.

"I have asked the Head of the Water Resources Service to immediately follow up, especially for land acquisition and so on. If we have to coordinate with the Ministry of ATR/BPN, we will immediately do it," said Pramono on Thursday, March 6.

Pramono confirmed that he would continue the land acquisition process for residential areas along the river for the Ciliwung normalization construction project.

"What is clear is that release will definitely be carried out. Only within an approach for release, we will continue with the previous governments that the approach must be more humane, humane," said Pramono.

Pramono hopes that residents who live on the banks of the river are pleased to be relocated to the flats so that the Ciliwung River normalization project can be continued immediately.

This is because the former Cabinet Secretary did not want a large flood that hit a number of points in Jakarta due to overflowing rivers and sending water from upstream a few days ago.

"We must be able to make sure to the residents in the location that need to be normalized that if they stay there, there will definitely be the impact of the flood. We will prepare for example, whether we make flats and so on," he added.
